Increasing consumer participation in the energy transition

The main aim of the EVEKT project is to motivate users to participate in the energy transition in the short, medium and long term. The project uses AI technologies to counteract the early onset of technology fatigue.

Intelligent, customised recommendations for action

Households are to be differentiated into various consumer groups and their individual short, medium and long-term idealistic, social and monetary motivators for participating in the energy transition with energy-positive electricity consumption are to be identified.

Artificial intelligence will then disaggregate energy consumption in order to provide users with targeted and individual recommendations for positive energy consumption and thus (indirectly) influence their behaviour.

A web application intelligently processes the collected data and presents it transparently to consumers. With an eco-scoring system, consumers can evaluate their own behaviour and compare it with others, which is intended to generate positive socio-ecological competition.
